Walk in the Park Golf Tournament 2020

We are excited to announce that our 2020 golf tournament will be happening this year! Our foundation and the Michelbook Country Club have created special regulations to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable golfing experience! Further details are below. We hope you will join us!

You can attend as a golfer, sponsor—or both! We can't guarantee the score you will shoot but we can guarantee a fun time, prizes and great food— all for a very worthy cause! This is a 100% volunteer event and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Walk in the Park foundation to support our local community and our children. This event will be held at the beautiful and exclusive Michelbook Country Club in McMinnville, Oregon. The tournament includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, range balls, on-course game package, a boxed lunch, and catered food stations on the course. We are unable to host our after game dinner reception, which is why we will be doing food stations on the course. 

Additional COVID Regulations/Announcements:

In response to COVID-19 the country club has the following measures in place

1. Masks will NOT be required for players
2. No ball washers will be available on the course
3. There will be no rakes in bunkers, so please do not play bunkers. Please use free mulligan at an equal distance from the pin.
4. Please use 6-foot social distancing between associated parties during registration, on course games, or any other location throughout the tournament. You are allowed to be closer than 6 feet within your own four-person team.
5. Foam is placed in each hole, so ball doesn't go completely down to limit person to person contact

The format for our tournament is a Best Ball 4-person scramble. In a scramble, each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected, and all players play their second shots from that spot. Then so on and so forth until the ball is holed. You may sign up as a team of four or as an individual player and we will place you on a team. 

If you already have a four-person team assembled. You can register all four players at one time and pay one fee, or you can each individually register and email carltonwitp@gmail.com with your teammate's names. 

Individual Player Package: $125

Team Package: $500

Team packages must be purchased by selecting 4 player packages.
